Changelog

What's new in trackov. Currently on v0.73.0.

v0.73.0
Flea prices on the item under your cursor
Desktop
  • Desktop app: hold Right Ctrl and tap F1 to read the item you're hovering — flea 24h price and range, roubles per slot, the best trader, and whether a quest or your hideout still needs it.
  • Keep a running total of what you've picked up this raid, with keys to add, undo, and drop the cheapest thing you're carrying.
  • Turn it on under Account → Flea tooltip. Optional auto-scan reads whatever your cursor settles on, and only ever while Tarkov is focused. Tarkov needs to be in Borderless.
v0.72.0
Faster, better-ranked item search
Item search
  • Item search now runs against our own copy of the item list instead of calling tarkov.dev on every keystroke, so it stays up when tarkov.dev doesn't.
  • Results are ranked by how well they actually match — searching "GPU" now finds the Graphics card first, rather than every Magpul part.
v0.71.0
Group the hideout shopping list by station
Hideout
  • Switch the shopping list to a per-station view — each station gets its own swimlane showing just the items its remaining upgrades need, with a covered tally.
  • Toggle between the combined list and the grouped view any time; sorting and station filtering apply to both.
v0.70.0
Filter and sort your hideout shopping list
Hideout
  • Tap one or more stations to narrow the shopping list to just what those stations need — tap again to unselect, or clear the filter in one click.
  • Sort the list by name, total value, or quantity needed.
  • Each item now shows its market value, and prices refresh every couple of hours to stay current.
v0.69.0
Track your hideout and its shopping list
Hideout
  • New Hideout page: set the level each of your stations is built to, saved to your account and separate from any war room.
  • A shopping list rolls up everything you still need to build every station to max — split into items to buy and items to find in raid.
  • Mark how many of each item you already have, like the raid prep list, and watch the list tick off as you go.
v0.68.0
Fix where a quest's objectives sit on the map
Quest board
  • Quest editing now lives on the prep board, so you correct quests while planning a raid rather than mid-game.
  • Each objective in the edit dialog now has a location picker: choose a map, then click or drag on the thumbnail to place its marker exactly where it belongs.
  • Your placement plots straight onto the live map, and moves the quest onto that map's board — pending an admin's approval, like other quest edits.
v0.67.0
Fix a quest's details yourself
Quest board
  • Spotted wrong quest data? Standard members can now edit a quest — its name, level, trader, wiki link, objectives, needed keys, and required quests — right from the quest card.
  • Your edit applies to your own boards straight away, everywhere, while an admin reviews it.
  • Once an admin approves it in the Quest edits queue, the fix goes live for everyone.
v0.66.0
A guided tour of the app
Onboarding
  • New here? A guided tour now walks you through the whole app — creating a lobby, the prep board, the map and its tools, pings, and the live quest board.
  • It runs in a private demo room on real map and quest data, so nothing you do touches a real lobby and no account is needed to try it.
  • The tour starts automatically on your first visit, and you can replay it anytime from the landing page.
v0.65.0
Game data now served from our own database
Reliability
  • Maps, quests, and map overlays are now served from trackov's own database instead of being fetched live from the game-data service on every load — so they keep working even when that service is down.
  • The database refreshes itself in the background a few times a day, so the data stays current.
v0.64.0
Map and quest data loads even when the data service blocks us
Reliability
  • When our server can't reach the game-data service, the app now fetches maps, quests, and screenshot imports straight from your browser instead — so lists stay populated instead of coming up empty.
  • The switch is automatic and invisible; you just see your data.
v0.63.0
Steadier map and quest loading
Reliability
  • Map and quest data now hold steady when the game-data service is briefly unavailable — the app falls back to the last good data instead of showing empty lists.
  • Fewer hiccups right after an update, when a burst of lobbies used to hammer the data service at once.
v0.62.0
Interchange floors, and a desktop hotkey to switch them
Map levels
  • Interchange joins The Lab as a multi-level map: pick Ground Level, 2nd Floor, or 3rd Floor from the switcher in the bottom-right.
  • The abstract map follows the floor you pick: the upper mall floors draw over the surrounding grounds one at a time instead of all stacked together, and extracts, spawns, loot, and quest objectives filter to that floor's elevation.
  • Desktop app: hold Right Ctrl and tap ↑ / ↓ to switch floors without alt-tabbing out of the game (needs desktop app v0.4.0).
v0.61.0
The Lab gets a floor switcher
Map levels
  • Multi-level maps now come with a floor switcher in the bottom-right — The Lab is first, with its Technical, First and Second levels.
  • The map draws only the level you pick: the abstract diagram shows that floor's layout and satellite view loads that floor's imagery, instead of every level stacked on top of each other.
  • Extracts, spawns, loot, keyed doors, and quest objectives filter to the floor you're viewing — no more chasing a marker that's actually above or below you.
  • Your own markers, drawings, and pings stay visible on every floor.
v0.60.0
Satellite imagery base map
Map layers
  • Maps with satellite coverage can now switch from the abstract diagram to real satellite imagery — find Abstract / Satellite at the top of the Layers menu.
  • The imagery lines up with every overlay, and sharpens as you zoom in so it stays crisp up close.
  • All your markers, pings, drawings, and quest objectives sit on top either way, so nothing is lost when you switch.
v0.59.0
Animated avatar frames for Founders
Founders
  • Founders can now pick an animated avatar frame — Pulse, Orbit, or Aurora — from Profile → Appearance, or keep the classic gold halo.
  • Your frame is shown to everyone in your lobbies — on the roster, the player filters, quest player and assignee badges, and the shopping list — so the whole squad sees it everywhere your avatar appears.
  • Not a Founder yet? You'll see the frames in your profile as a preview — subscribe while the Founders program is open to unlock them.
v0.58.0
Handier Clear all and an eraser that catches paths
Map tools
  • Clear all now sits right next to the Tools button instead of hiding inside the menu, so wiping the map's drawings and pings is always one click away.
  • The eraser finally works on paths — run it over any path and the whole line is removed, just like rectangles.
v0.57.0
Subscription and role reworks
Subscriptions
  • Reworked how subscriptions and account roles fit together behind the scenes for a smoother upgrade experience.
  • The subscribe option now shows up in the right places, so your account page reflects the plan and badges you're entitled to.
v0.56.0
Filter the prep board by player
Prep board
  • The prep board now has the same clickable player avatars as the live board, sitting above the shopping list.
  • Pick one or more teammates to narrow the loadout and shopping list to just their quests; deselect everyone to see the whole squad again.
  • The filter is shared with the live board and map, so it carries over when you go live.
v0.55.0
Bring more than one of an item
Shopping list
  • When a quest needs several of the same item, you can now set how many you're bringing with a quick −/+ stepper — one person can cover the whole requirement on their own.
  • The shopping list and prep cards tally everyone's quantities, so an item counts as covered once the squad's total meets what's needed.
  • Single-item requirements are unchanged: just click to claim them like before.
v0.54.0
Switch between dark and light mode
Appearance
  • trackov now ships a light theme alongside the original dark one — pick whichever suits your setup.
  • Dark stays the default; switch to light anytime from the Appearance section of your profile.
  • Your choice is remembered on each device, and the page no longer flashes dark before your preference loads.
v0.53.0
Subscribe before v1.0 to become a Founder
Founders
  • Anyone who subscribes before the 1.0 release becomes a Founder instead of Standard — same unlimited access, plus a gold badge on your avatar across the app and in every lobby roster.
  • Founders get a direct say in shaping trackov: your feature input and votes carry extra weight on the roadmap.
  • Founder status lasts as long as your subscription stays active. If it lapses, resubscribing restores access as Standard — the founder badge is a one-time early-backer perk.
  • Existing subscribers were promoted to Founder automatically. Thanks for backing trackov early!
v0.52.0
Guest hosting becomes a 7-day free trial
Billing & account
  • Guests can now host their own lobbies free for their first 7 days, instead of a 3-lobby lifetime cap.
  • After the trial you can still join teammates' lobbies free, forever — subscribe to Standard to keep hosting your own.
  • The create screen now shows why hosting is locked once the trial ends, with a quick path to upgrade.
v0.51.0
Hotkeys jump to a quest, then tick its steps
Hotkeys
  • Tap Right Ctrl + a quest letter to scroll the quest board straight to it and highlight it — find a quest fast without alt-tabbing.
  • Then add the step number to toggle that objective, or press 0 to toggle the whole quest at once.
  • Hotkey letters now match the board you're looking at: they follow each map's A–Z order, so the right quest is always the one addressed.
  • Desktop app: update when prompted to pick up the new gesture.
v0.50.0
Quest letters restart per map
Quest board
  • Quest letters (A, B, C…) now start fresh for each map, so the map you're on always reads A–Z from the top.
  • No more skipped letters when quests for other maps sit earlier in the list — every map's board and its plotted steps (A1, A2…) stay in sync.
v0.49.0
Prep board filters by map
Prep board
  • The prep board and shopping list now focus on the map in view, just like the live board — current-map quests and what to bring for them lead the list.
  • Quests and item requirements for other maps tuck into a collapsed “Other maps” accordion, grouped by map.
v0.48.0
Standard subscriptions and account management
Billing & account
  • Upgrade to Standard for unlimited lobbies and template saving — $1/month, billed $6 every 6 months through Stripe.
  • Manage or cancel your subscription anytime from the new Billing page.
  • Your email up top is now an avatar menu with quick links to your profile, billing, and sign out.
  • A new Profile page lets you update your display name and change your password.
v0.47.0
App icon for web and desktop
Branding
  • Trackov now has a reticle icon — it shows in the browser tab and as the desktop app's window and taskbar icon.
v0.46.0
Quest objective zones on the map
Map layers
  • Objectives that happen in an area — like eliminating enemies in a zone — now show the whole zone as a shaded region, not just a single dot.
  • Toggle them under Layers → Quest zones. Zones follow the player filter and turn green when the objective is done.
v0.45.0
Hosts can kick lobby members
Lobbies
  • The lobby host (whoever created it) can now remove someone: click their avatar in the top-right roster and choose “Kick from lobby”.
  • The host is marked with a crown, and a kicked player can't rejoin that lobby.
v0.44.0
Community lobby templates
Lobbies
  • Save a lobby's map, quests, and drawings as a shareable community template — give it a title and description.
  • Start a new lobby from any community template in the collapsed picker on the create screen.
  • Manage your own templates: overwrite the snapshot from a board, rename, or delete. Standard members and admins can save.
v0.43.0
Double-click ping returns
Pings
  • Double-click the map to drop a quick, general ping — the classic dot is back, alongside the typed radial pings.
v0.42.0
Typed pings with a radial menu
Pings
  • Pings now come in four types — enemy, loot, extract, and rally — each with its own icon.
  • Hold right-click on the map to open a radial menu and sweep to the type you want; release in the centre to cancel.
v0.41.0
Versioned changelog and “what's new” toast
Changelog
  • Added this changelog, with a version tied to every release.
  • You'll get a heads-up toast on reconnect whenever trackov updates.
v0.40.0
Shared player filter for the board and map
Filters
  • Moved the player filter into the quest board header.
  • It now filters the quest board and the map's objectives together.
v0.39.0
Desktop app with OS-global hotkeys
Desktop app
  • A desktop shell wraps the board so you can tick objectives without alt-tabbing out of the game — e.g. Right Ctrl + A + 2 toggles step A2.
v0.38.0

Shopping list
  • Rolls a lobby's quests up into a combined shopping list of what you need.
